“Hello? My name is ______. I’m an Emergency Responder, May I help you.” Of course you can, after participating in the Emergency First Response Course. All you need is a weekend ! This course is conducted over two sessions. Saturday 4hrs & Sunday 4 to 5hrs. There are video and hands on practice sessions. This course is basic training course in emergency care and create confidence to care for other.
Remember this! You don’t need to be a Doctor to help a person, but you can help if you know how!
In the Emergency First Response

Primary Care (CPR)
Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR) teaches you how to deal with emergencies that are immediately life threatening. Here are the Primary Care (CPR) skills:
- Scene Assessment
- Barrier Use
- Primary Assessment
- Rescue Breathing
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Serious bleeding management
- Shock management
- Spinal injury management
Secondary Care (first aid)
Emergency First Response Secondary Care (first aid) covers injuries or illnesses that are not immediately life threatening or when local EMS is unavailable or delayed. The Secondary Care (first aid) skills are:
- Injury Assessment
- Illness Assessment
- Bandaging
- Splinting for Dislocations and Fractures
