PADI Open Water Diver Course
Now is the time to dive into the PADI Open Water Diver course, the most popular dive program in the world! This is your ticket to a lifetime of intense adventure with PADI, the dive company that sets the standards in the global diving community.

Why PADI Open Water?

As a certified PADI Open Water Diver, the most widely recognized and respected rating in the world, you have the freedom to dive with a buddy independent of a professional. If you already tried a PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience or are PADI Scuba Diver certified, check with us to see how credit from these courses may apply to the open water program.

What do I need to start?

Virtually anyone who is in good health, reasonably fit, and comfortable in the water can earn a PADI Open Water Diver certification. You must be older than the age of 14 to begin the PADI Open Water Diver program. For those of you who are not above the age of 14 and would like to participate in the PADI Open Water Diver Program, then the PADI Jr Open Water Diver program is available to you. If you are between 10 and 14 or have a child between these ages, we provide PADI Junior Open Water Diver programs.

Divers are just people like you!

Virtually anyone in good health who is reasonably fit and comfortable in water can learn to scuba dive. Most people find learning to dive a fun challenge that's neither effortless nor overly arduous.

To earn your PADI Open water certification, you need to attend all three parts of the Open Water course, which consists of:-

1) Knowledge Development

2) Confined Water Sessions

3) Open Water Sessions

After completing all three sections you will earn your globally recognized
PADI Open Water Diver certification card.

Scuba Corner
----------------------
offers a few flexible course packages to meet your needs.

Mode of travel is also an important factor when you are signing up for your dive courses.

Scuba diving is a very competitive business in Singapore! Do some research before committing your life to a dive school that runs the business in an unprofessional manner.

Here are a couple of things you may want to know and ask before you sign up to a dive course or dive trip with our competitors if you are going to Pulau Aur / Pulau Dayang or Tioman for your open water courses.

Mode of travel to and from Malaysia - Mersing Jetty

We use fully licensed 40 seater coaches to travel to Malaysia's Mersing Jetty with Insurance coverage of S$10,000 per person.

NOTE! Some operators use illegal unlicensed Malaysian vans to get to Mersing. If something happens on the way, there will be no insurance coverage.

Speedboat transfer to the Pulau Aur or Pulau Tioman

We use speedboat transfer service to Pulau Aur or Pulau Tioman on Saturday morning. Mersing jetty to Pulau Aur via speedboat is only 1hr and 30mins. With this package you will have a good night sleep at one of the Mersing hotels on Friday night.

NOTE! Many of our competitors use the slow wooden boats which take between 4 and 5 hours from Mersing jetty to Pulau Aur / Pulau Dayang. Most of them will be doing the Friday night crossing, this means you will be on board the boat on Saturday early hours. You will probably reached Pulau Aur / Pulau Dayang at around 0400a.m. to 0500a.m. Not many people can handle the overnight long boat ride, especially those doing it for the first time.

Aur / Tioman to Mersing Jetty

We will be using the speedboat services to get back to Mersing jetty. Normally we will reach Mersing Jetty at 3pm This means that we will be able to get back to Singapore between 7pm and 8pm. This makes the whole weekend more enjoyable and less tiring, especially for those of us who need to work the next day.

So, those using the 4 to 5 hour slow boats will probably get back to Singapore at around 1030pm to 1130pm. This will make the dive trip very tiring and some even have to pay those mid night charges when taking a taxi home.
